The Hit Men to perform September 21st

The Performing Arts Association presents The Hit Men at the Missouri Theatre on Saturday, September 21st at 7:30 pm.

The Hit Men stars legendary musicians and singers who performed and recorded with Elton john, Cat Stevens, Journey. Executive Director for the Performing Arts Association, Beth Sharp, says The Hit Men will be performing famous songs from artists they've played backup to.

"The group is call The Hit Men.  It's on Saturday, September 21st at the Missouri Theatre.  These are a group of guys who have played back-up for just about all the legendary musicians and singers.  Elton John.  They played for Cat Stevens, Journey, Three Dog Night, The Rascals, Carly Simon, Frankie Valley.  And that's just naming a few.  So these guys have played and recorded with all those people.  They know the music, so they're going to be playing the songs."

People of all ages can attend The Hit Men's performance on Saturday, September 21st at 7:30 pm at the Historic Missouri Theatre. Tickets may be purchased by phone at the Performing Arts Association at 816-279-1225, at their office at 719 Edmond Street, or online at saintjosephperformingarts.org.
